JANUARY/FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER
Welcome back from a restful break! We hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the holidays! 2026 is going to be an amazing year! This year started off with fun skating!! on January 2, 2026, the cadets had an opportunity to go ice skating with their fellow cadets before heading back to normal training nights! The night was filled with lots of laughter and of course, hot chocolate!

Selected cadets also had an opportunity to go to UFly simulator! The cadets had a lot of fun learning about planes, and how the simulator works, while even getting a. chance to try it out themselves! Only select cadets were chosen for this simulator. These cadets include top cadets of the month, cadets who did multiple tagging shifts as well as cadets who take on initiative and always setting a good example, keep up the good work!

ZONE 10 MARKSMANSHIP COMPETITION-FEBRUARY 7, 2026
The range team is working hard to get ready for their range competition! They’re going to be competing against other squadrons and are going to do amazing! Good luck to all the marksmanship team members!
MARKSMANSHIP TRAINING DAY- FEBRUARY 28, 2026
All cadets get ready for the squadron marksmanship training day! This event is mandatory for all cadets to attend in order to pass their level. This will be a fun day of learning about rifles and how to safely use them. More details will come soon!
