Mandatory Administration Night – Thursday, 10 September 2026 - 142 Mimico RCACS

Dear Cadets, Parents and Guardians,

As we prepare to begin the 2026–2027 training year, 142 ‘Mimico’ Squadron will be holding our annual Administration Night on Thursday, 10 September 2026. This evening is important to ensure that each cadet’s administrative information is accurate and up to date before regular training begins.

What Cadets and Parents/Guardians Need to Do

1. Parent/Guardian attendance is required

Cadets must attend with a parent and/or guardian who is listed on their file. Both the cadet and parent/guardian will be required to review the cadet’s Annual Validation Form and confirm that the information on file is accurate and up to date.

Please do not send your cadet alone, as a parent/guardian will be required to review and sign documentation.

2. Cadet Code of Conduct

The Cadet Code of Conduct will be attached. Before Admin Night, we ask that both the cadet and parent/guardian carefully review the Code of Conduct together and ensure that they understand the expectations outlined in it.

The Code of Conduct must be signed and brought with you to Admin Night. Please do not simply sign the document without reviewing it; it is important that cadets and their parents/guardians understand the standards of behaviour and expectations associated with participation in the Cadet Program.

3. Uniform check

Before attending Admin Night, all returning cadets are asked to:

• Take stock of all uniform items currently in their possession.

• Try on their uniform to determine what still fits and what no longer fits.

• Make note of any missing, damaged, too-small or too-large uniform items.

• Be prepared to report these requirements to the Supply Officer during Admin Night.

Cadets must do this before arriving will help Supply process uniform exchanges and requirements much more efficiently.

4. Order of Dress

Regular cadets are to attend in civilian clothing.

Staff Cadets/NCOs who have been directed to assist with Admin Night are to report for 5:30 PM in C3B Summer Dress.

Parking

We ask families to please avoid using the Legion's parking spaces during Admin Night. Please make use of available street parking in the surrounding area. This will help us keep the Legion parking area available for Legion members and those who require closer access.

Please Bring

To help keep the evening running smoothly, please ensure you arrive with:

• Your cadet and parent/guardian together;

• The signed Cadet Code of Conduct;

• Knowledge of any changes required on your Annual Validation Form; and

• A list or clear understanding of any uniform items that need to be exchanged or replaced.

Admin Night is an important first step in getting everyone ready for another successful training year. Your preparation before arriving will help us process families efficiently and minimize wait times.
