SEPTEMBER RECAP

September is the start of the new training year. We had a successful intake day with many new recruits joining the squadron, welcome to the squadron! September started off strong with some cadets having the opportunity to attend and take part in the Change of Command parade at CFB Bordon to welcome the new CO of the 32 Signals regiment. We had a wonderful time working with Lieutenant-Colonel Moore and are excited to now work with their new CO, Lieutenant-Colonel MacLennan! 142 Mimico has been affiliated with 32 Signals Regiment since 2016, and the Regiment has supported our squadron in many ways. This year, we also had the opportunity to give out promotions to some cadets on the first night back. Congratulations on all their hard work! September also has one of our major events of the year, which is tagging. This is one of the squadrons biggest fundraisers which help fund squadron activities and helps give cadets an even better experience. Thank you to all the cadets that participated and helped fundraise money for the squadron!
