A Message from the CO about the upcoming Spring Tagging Happening April 16- April 19
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope you are doing well.
Our upcoming Cadet Tagging Fundraiser is an important activity for our unit.
Tagging is one of the main community fundraisers for the cadet program. During tagging events, cadets stand at approved locations in uniform and politely ask members of the public for donations. Donors receive a small sticker or “tag” as a thank-you for their support. The funds raised go directly toward cadet training, activities, equipment, and special opportunities throughout the year.
Participation from our cadets is essential to make this fundraiser successful. In addition to raising necessary funds, tagging also helps cadets build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork while representing the program in the community.
We need your help in transporting your Cadet from the Legion to fundraising location. We will not be able to complete this endeavour without your support.
Please take a moment to review the attached letter. More information to follow soon.
If you have any questions, please email us at questions@142sqn.ca. Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Capt Vidur Pannerselvam
